Meet the Author, Melissa McAllister

My name is Melissa McAllister. I am a proud mother of two amazing, smart adult children and wife to my partner of over two decades.

Believe it or not, there was a point in my life that I was a French Fries and Pepsi connoisseur! It wasn't until just after I had my children that I started to really consider what I was putting into my body and how to properly care for it.

I decided to start taking group fitness classes and thought 'I bet I could teach too'. Low and behold my love for fitness was born!

Many incredible years later, I have been in multiple consumer workout videos, have trained and supported thousands of clients, and have certified many instructors along the way.

Today, I serve as a Functional Nutritionist, Therapeutic Fasting and Gut Health Expert, creator of the M.A.D.E. Diet program, and co-host of The Made Fitz Podcast.
